Black Triangle

Turquoise, pink and white dominate this abstract composition, built up with thick impasto paint, bold strokes and dabs of colour. A deep black triangle cuts across the lower corner, while touches of magenta and grey add contrast. The interplay of colours gives the painting a dynamic quality, with a strong sense of movement and depth.

The painting is also known as White Cat’s Birthday.
