Exhibition History
Boston Manor House, West London, UK
September, 2026
Step into almost 400 years of history.
Built in the 1620s, Boston Manor House was later transformed into the elegant Georgian mansion we see today.
In September 2026, its historic rooms came alive with contemporary art, welcoming the work of artist Lana Swan as part of the Creative Mile exhibition.
Surrounded by beautiful parkland, it remains one of West London’s hidden historic gems.
The event took place alongside Art on Your Doorstep, a new project delivered in partnership with The National Gallery and Creative Mile, bringing art from the nation’s collection to Brentford.

Watermelon, Oil on Canvas
“Svetlana, I wanted to let you know how much I love the watermelon painting. It’s really beautiful. It was packed so well. I saw the other cards you had made up with some samples and they are really neat. I think I’m going to end up probably getting the other two fruit paintings also. I might just make a collage of them, they’d all look so nice together. Anyway, I don’t know if you’re still planning on doing the cat picture but I would love to have that as well. Don’t feel obligated. I’ll talk with you soon. Thank you again.
Best,
Beth”
