Cookie Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on lanaswan.com, and how you can choose which ones we use. Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the website to work. Others are used only if you agree.

Your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Statistics and marketing cookies are blocked until you click “Accept” or switch them on under “Preferences”. If you click “Reject”, only necessary cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time on this page, using the settings below.

Necessary cookies

These keep the website, the shop and the forms working, and they cannot be switched off. They do not track you for advertising.

• WooCommerce (our shop) remembers your cart and checkout session, for example woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart and wp_woocommerce_session_. They last up to 48 hours.
• Payments: on the checkout page, WooPayments and Stripe use cookies such as __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid to prevent fraud. They last up to one year.
• Your cookie choice is stored in cookies that start with cmplz_ and wp_consent_, for 365 days.
• Wishlist: if you add a painting to your wishlist, a cookie starting with yith_wcwl_session_ remembers it.
• Security and site performance: our host and our cache may set short technical cookies, such as _lscache_vary.

Statistics cookies (only with your consent)

• Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages and products are popular. It uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_, which last up to two years. The Google tag is not loaded until you agree, and Google Consent Mode passes on your choice.
• Jetpack Stats and WooCommerce Analytics, by Automattic, count page views and shop activity. WooCommerce Analytics may set cookies such as tk_ai.

Marketing cookies (only with your consent)

These help us measure our adverts and show them to people who may like the art. The companies below may combine this information with what they already know about you.

• Google Ads, for example _gcl_au, for up to 90 days.
• Pinterest tag, for example _pin_unauth, _pinterest_ct_ua and _epik, for up to one year.
• Reddit Pixel, for example _rdt_uuid, for up to 90 days.
• Snap Pixel (Snapchat), for example _scid and _sctr, for up to 13 months.
• WooCommerce order attribution notes how you found the shop, for example from a search engine or a social media post, in cookies that start with sbjs_. They last for the visit or up to six months, and the result is saved with your order.

Google, Pinterest, Reddit and Snap may also receive details of purchases from our server, sometimes with your email address in hashed (scrambled) form.

Content from other websites

Videos from YouTube, the Pinterest “Save” button and the Fine Art America shop widget come from other websites, which may set their own cookies when they load. Some of this content may show a placeholder until you accept the cookies it needs.

Cookies in your browser

You can also delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, the cart and checkout will not work.

The names and lifetimes above are set by each provider and can change. For more about how we use personal data and your rights, see our Privacy Policy. Questions: info@lanaswan.com.
